BEGINNING COPPER FOIL -

Three consecutive Saturdays from 9:30AM to 3:00PM starting March 29. (plus April 5 and 12)

This is an introduction to the basic skills and tools of the art of stained glass. Students will be exposed to traditional and contemporary glassworks, and will create 3 pieces during the course.

 

Glass will be provided for the first 2 projects. The cost of the class is $135 and a kit containing all necessary tools and materials is $143 plus tax.

 

BEGINNING LEAD CAME -

 

Five consecutive Thursday Nights from 6PM to 9PM starting April 17. (April 17 & 24 and May 1, 8 & 15)

 

Lead came is the traditional method of stained glass construction, and dates back to the 11th century. In this course students will construct two pieces.

 

Students in this course should have a beginner's experience in copper foil stained glass construction. Glass and lead will be provided for the first project. Students should have cutting and soldering tools and a rheostat.

 

The cost of the class is $135 and leadworking tools are available at a 20% discount DURING THE FIRST CLASS ONLY.
