BEGINNING MOSAICS –

Mosaic Tools available during first class only at 20% discount

Learn how to create your own mosaics drawing from ancient techniques dating back to 3000BC. In class, students will make at least two projects on various substrates. Materials for the first project will be provided. The cost of the class is S170.

 

 

LEAD CAME –

 

5 WEDNESDAYS

March 21, 28, April 4, 11, 18
6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
$170 Class Fee

Lead came is the traditional method of stained glass construction, and dates back to the 11th century. In this course students will construct 2 pieces. Students in this course should have a beginner's experience in copper foil stained glass construction. Glass and lead will be provided for the first project. Lead-working tools will be available during the first class only at 20% discount. Students should have cutting and soldering tools and a rheostat.

 

 

BEGINNING COPPER FOIL –

 

3 SATURDAYS
April 7, 14, 21
9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
$170 Class Fee
$175 (plus tax) for tools

This is an introduction to the basic skills and tools of the art of stained glass. Students will be exposed to traditional and contemporary glassworks, and will create three pieces during the course. Glass will be provided for the first two projects. The cost of the class is $170 and a kit containing all necessary tools and materials is $175.00 plus tax.
